More Than Words cafe
Boston, USA . 2007 . In collaboration with Architecture for Humanity - Boston chapter
More Than Words, a non-profit youth-run bookstore in Waltham, wanted to integrate a small café and reception area in their existing store.
After a series of charrettes with the MTW community and volunteers my design was chosen and further developed by the Architecture for Humanity team of volunteers.
The design unites de café with the reception area and storefront to create a strong visual identity in the space.
Participatory design was a crucial part of the design process.
